Rig Move & Tow Route Forecasts

Just like our short range site specific forecast product, these forecasts are generally issued twice daily depending on project and vessel requirements and usually comprise:

• Tabular point-time summary of wind, wave and swell conditions in 6-hourly steps for 96 hours along a given route based on updated vessel or tow spread progress
• Meteorological Situation, summarising the present synoptic situation and expected developments along the route
• Tropical Advisory, detailing any threat from Tropical Disturbances or Tropical Cyclones
• Warnings, specifying any phenomena producing wind or wave conditions which may threaten the tow
• Graphical wind and wave charts giving visual display of the point-time summary data
